The mission of Zion Lutheran Church is to preach and teach the good news of Jesus Christ, serve the needs of others in our communities and around the world, worship in the Lutheran tradition celebrating God’s love and grace, and grow as a family in Christ.
News & Announcements
Kids’ Club is at 3:30 at Salem Lutheran Church. If you are interested in attending, please contact our office for a registration form so we can prepare. We will also be bringing back our “Service and a Supper” after Kids’ Club in the fellowship hall. Supper will begin at 5pm at no cost, and the service will begin at 5:30, to be finished around 6pm. All are welcome to this new and different type of worship.
Fellowship: We do have fellowship get-togethers. There will be a sign-up sheet if you would like to host the fellowship. Obligations include: starting coffee before service, serving coffee, providing treats/cookies and clean-up afterwards. We will have coffee when we have volunteers. Please sign up to host to preserve this wonderful tradition.
Book Club: Book club meets the third Thursday of the month. This month, our book is Warrior Girl Unleashed, by Angeline Boulley.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Participants in worship and events at Zion Lutheran Church may appear in photos or videos on social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Anyone wishing NOT to be depicted on sites administered by Zion Lutheran may opt out by submitting written notice to the church office.

We have a meal and brief worship service in the Salem fellowship hall following Kids’ Club.
Supper will begin at 5pm at no cost, and the service will begin at 5:30.

Nursing Home Worship Services
All are welcome to join us as we share worship at our nearby nursing homes.
First Thursday of the month: 1:30 at Westgate
Second Tuesday of the month: 1:30 at VillaMaria
Second Friday of the month: 10am at Skyview
Fellowship opportunities
Monday Zion Quilters
Are invited to quilt from home and pray for each other and the recipients of these quilts, or come in person and quilt and pray together. We are meeting at 1pm on Tuesdays in the basement.
Wednesday Kids Club
Kids’ Club is meeting at 3:30 at Salem Lutheran Church. There is a supper and a service following Kids’ Club each week.
Confirmation
Confirmation classes are currently meeting after worship on Sunday mornings. The first Sunday of the month, students are invited to bring a trusted adult with them.
Thursday Bible Study at 10:00 AM
We are meeting in person, but we still have our remote option for those who need it. Contact Pr. Nicole if you want the video conference link!
